Event Description:

The U.S. Department of Transportation (including FAA) will be hosting a special Multi-Agency Veterans Hiring Event exclusively for transitioning service men and women (including disabled veterans). DOT, along with the U.S. Departments of Treasury and Energy will be at this event to showcase their job vacancies at their respective agencies.

Special Hiring Authorities

Who May Attend?

Registered U.S. Citizens (only) who are transitioning service men and women (including disabled veterans). Note: Please bring two valid government-issued photo ID’s, which are required to enter

• Meet HR Directors, HR Specialists, Hiring Managers from DOT (including FAA), Treasury, Energy
• Participate in “on-site” workshops (e-Benefits, Military Translator Skills, Montgomery GI Bill)
• Participate in “virtual” workshops (Resume Writing, Getting the Most from a Hiring Event)
• Get Helpful Tips (On-boarding for Transitioning Service Men and Women, Military Buyback Program)

What to Bring?

Multiple hard copies of all applicable documents below to the event:

• Federal resume
• DD-214 (Member 4 Copy)
• SF-15 (Application for 10-point Veteran Preference) (if applicable)
• VA Disability Letter
• Official College transcript(s)
• Two Valid U.S. Government Issued ID’s
